Brace treatment costs can vary, as it is influenced by the type of brace you choose and the severity of the condition of your teeth. We are able to offer interest-free finance to all of our patients, to ensure they can get the smile they have always wanted without breaking their budget. Our prices start at just £183 per month for adults and £80.50 per month for children.

Only children who meet the strict criteria set out by the NHS will be eligible for NHS-funded treatment. Initially, your child will need to be referred by their general dentist to have their eligibility assessed and the outcome will be discussed with you. Your child's eligibility will be determined by an enforced, national scoring system called the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN).  

If your child does not qualify for NHS funding, we are able to provide you with self-funded alternatives that closely resemble the NHS fee structure. This is to ensure every patient, regardless of whether they qualify for the NHS or not, have access to affordable, high-quality orthodontic care.

You should be aware, however, that under the NHS there will be an initial waiting list for the first consultation and an additional waiting list before your treatment will commence. While we apologise for any delays you may experience, our NHS treatments are currently restricted to a 'quota system' due to limited government funding. These restrictions are applied to all orthodontic practices in the UK and are not specific to Bath Orthodontics. We work tirelessly, to keep our waiting lists to a minimum.
