Dr Katherine Tonge  

Specialist Orthodontist and Clinical Lead GDC: 192599


Dr Katherine Tonge successfully completed her general dental training at the University of Birmingham, where she qualified with distinction in Clinical Dentistry and was awarded the Walpole Day Prize in Orthodontics. She subsequently worked in a busy London General Dental Practice, before taking up positions in various general hospitals in specialties that included oral and maxillofacial surgery, restorative dentistry and paediatric dentistry.


These duties gave Katherine broad experience in several dental specialties. However, orthodontics was where her passion lay and she was delighted to be accepted into the Eastman Dental Hospital to carry out her specialist training, also obtaining a Masters Degree in Orthodontics. She successfully passed her Royal College of Surgeons of England specialty examinations, obtaining the highest mark for that year and earning the Gold Medal in the process.


It was then that Katherine joined her father, Dr Eric Tonge, as the new orthodontic specialist at Bath Orthodontics, to carry on his vision for providing the highest quality orthodontic care.


Katherine consistently develops her skills by attending conferences and courses, which keep her up-to-date with the latest in orthodontic techniques. She has also given back to the industry by mentoring trainee orthodontic therapists throughout their diplomas.


Outside of work, she is busy looking after her two children, Hugo and Della. Albeit a rarity, she enjoys going out for dinner and taking long walks.



Dr Rachel Worrall  

Specialist Orthodontist GDC number 112771


Rachel graduated in 2007 as dentist from Bristol University . She has over 15 years of clinical experience and has been a specialist orthodontist since 2013.


After graduating as a dentist she worked in London as part of specialist Maxillo-Facial Oral Surgery and paediatric dentistry teams at Great Ormond Street, UCH and The Royal London Hospitals. During this time she continued 5 more years of specialist post graduate training at The Royal London Hospital. She gained her Membership to The Faculty of Dental Surgery and a Masters in Science (Msc) in Orthodontics. She was then invited to join The Royal College of Surgeons. Her orthodontic research won the British Orthodontic Society Hawley Russell

research prize and she has presented at both The European and British Orthodontic Society Conferences.


Rachel has recently moved from London to the southwest and now works in both NHS and Private specialist orthodontic practices in Bath and London. She enjoys using the latest aesthetic techniques including both traditional metal, iconix and clear fixed braces and removable brace systems such as Invisalign. She is a member of The British Orthodontic Society and is on the specialist list at The Royal College of Surgeons and the General Dental Council.


Rachel loves to spend her spare time skiing, visiting art exhibitions and spending time with her husband and 2 young children.

Amy Williams 

Orthodontic Therapist GDC: 146414


Amy joined Bath Orthodontics as a dental nurse in 2002. She subsequently added further qualifications in dental radiography, orthodontic nursing, impression taking, plaque and debris scoring, and most recently Orthodontic Therapy.


Amy is dedicated to the well-being of patients and puts them all at ease. She spends her free time with family and is enthusiastic about staying fit.

Lauren Price  

Practice Manager GDC: 206912


Lauren joined the practice as practice manager in 2018 and has more than ten years of experience in both NHS and private dentistry. As a qualified dental nurse, she has also has the benefit of understanding the clinical and managerial aspects of her role.


She is passionate about promoting a strong work ethic within a team environment and has accumulated vast knowledge of running a legal, ethical and compliant practice. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys staying fit and has run more than twenty marathons.

Toni Snow  

Orthodontic Therapist GDC: 114622


Toni has been a member of the team since 2003, when she came on board as a trainee dental nurse. After qualifying in dental nursing in 2005, she gained post-qualifications in orthodontic nursing and radiography. She then went on to complete her qualification in Orthodontic Therapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009.


Toni particularly enjoys brace-removal appointments as not only is it rewarding to see the finished results, it is usually the patient's favourite appointment too. Outside of work, she has two young boys who keep her busy.


Joanne Clayton  

Reception and Treatment Coordinator


Jo joined Bath Orthodontics in 2010 and is known for being a friendly and knowledgeable first port of call for patients. She is committed to her work and has continued to undergo role-related courses throughout her career.


Jo previously spent 12 years working in travel and tourism and has vast knowledge of different cultures. Away from the office, she is devoted to her children and enjoys reading.

Holly Baker  

Dental Nurse GDC 272657


Holly started her career in childcare but made the move to general dentistry after successfully completing a National Diploma in dental nursing. She is also qualified in taking dental impressions. She gets great satisfaction from caring for patients and making them feel at ease.
